This is a commissioned
marble sculpture created by Kevin Willson and presented to me
on Christmas Day, 2001 by my wife.
It is the most beautiful
present I will probably ever receive, and while it is something
I have always wanted, it is something I never thought I would
own.
The sculpture is beautiful.
Though very white, it has a lustre and smoothness similar to my
wife's skin. I always believed that sculptures were meant to be
touched. This statue just beckons to be caressed. When I run my
hands over it, thoughts and feelings of touching my wife are brought
to the forefront of my mind. It is eerily similar to the real
thing.
I thank my wife for
the love, thought and expense that went into this gift. And, I
want to thank Kevin. It is a testament to his skill as a sculptor,
and a true work of art I will cherish for the rest of my life.
