The Gift

I have always wanted to commission a sculpture that would capture the beauty of my wife. Time will age us and I wanted to immortalize her so I could look at the piece of marble and remember. I also thought it would be a wonderful piece of art to display in our living room, or in my study. Having taken many photographs over the past several years, I am not at risk of forgetting what my wife looks like, but my desire to have a sculpture of her has not diminished.

However, not having unlimited funds, there always seemed to be other priorities in life. For Christmas 2001 my wife decided to surprise me and grant my wish. To her I am very grateful, and I would like to share my gift with you... Andrew
